This hymn of praise for mixed voices a cappella was composed by Anatoly Lyadov (1855–1914) from Russia. The Christmas composition can be sung with the original Slavonic church lyrics as well as the additional English (Glory to God in the Highest) or German text version (Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe).
