Laudato si, mi Signore is the fifth part of Franz M. Herzog's seven-part cycle Canticle of the Sun which he composed on behalf of the US-based Raschèr Saxophone Quartet which gives concerts all over the world. This cycle for eight-part choir SATB, soli percussion and saxophone or string quartet (chamber orchestra) is based on the Old Italian Canticle of the Sun text by Francis of Assisi, who in it invokes humans to the glorification of God through all His creations.
