The contemporary composition was commissioned by Virginia Bono to be performed by Estudio Coral Meridies. The main requirement was the work to be written in one of the languages of the Aboriginal communities currently living in Argentina. Qom is the language Ricardo Fischer decided to use, which is spoken by the Toba indigenous group inhabiting the central-east region. The music uses harmonies, rhythms and simple melodies, some elements of the Aborigine music.
