Jan Wilke has structured the text of his motet O magnum mysterium, set for men's voices, in several clearly defined musical sections. The mildly dissonant language sounds secretive in accordance to the mysterium" and - impressively brightening - leads to pure major chords at the end of each section.This section merges once again into the beginning before effectively ending the motet in a slightly varied and enhanced manner.
