Free sound syllables make up the lyrics of this contemporary choral composition by Lorenz Maierhofer, which was commissioned by the Singakademie Graz (Graz Choral Academy) for a choir competition in Norway in 2010. In its melody and the sensuality of its sound, the work moves those who hear it like a mysterious prayer: “Listen, let every day be a rebirth!” Optionally, the piece can be performed with a choreographic accompaniment, either with body percussion, or with stones or sticks.
