The “kindness and love” from the antiphon of the Holy Thursday liturgy is heard calmly at the beginning in the alto part which presents the theme and which is then taken up by the rest of the choir, resounding in four voices. This is a radiant and devout composition in which especially the “sincere heart” (ex corde diligamus nos sincero) is given expression in a profound manner.
