This attractive piece, ideal for young performers, was awarded a prize in the Kompositionswettbewerb des 9. Stuttgarter Musikfests in 2016. Musically, the work is based on a son clave, a key rhythmic figure in Latin American music. The Aztec legend The Moon Hare provided content which served the composer as a source of inspiration. It is reflected in the short texts recited at various places in the score. This interesting combination of text and music provides the composition with special appeal.
