Choruses from Verdi Operas are a staple part of the repertoire of many male choirs. The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, (Nabucco), the Anvil Chorus and Soldiers’ Chorus (Il Trovatore), the Gypsy Chorus (La Traviata) – all wonderful melodies. This swaggering chorus from Aida is as good as the others and as famous. This arrangement is almost entirely in two parts (except a 4 divisi bars towards end). Lyrics in English only.
