Diese CD eröffnet die Möglichkeit, die vielen Facetten der russischen geistlichen Chormusik zu erleben, darunter zahlreiche neu zu entdeckende Juwelen.  Das Vokalensemble Agios unter der Leitung von Pavel Brochin bietet ausdrucksstarke und zugleich sehr einfühlsame Interpretationen dieses musikalischen Kosmos.
