Josef Suk

Josef Suk studied violin and composition at the Prague Conservatory, where he held a master class from 1922. Antonín Dvořák, who later became his father-in-law taught him there from 1891 and promoted him until his death. As a violinist Suk performed with the Bohemian Quartet for 40 years and travelled throughout Europe.
