Solveig's song tells of waiting and the promise to be there when the other returns. This oh-so-special melody is set low in the arrangement – Nordic coolness that could be more reminiscent of Björk instead of sweet girlishness so that the other voices weave their pattern over it this time. And the Ländler-like dancing middle part has been completely deleted from the arrangement that is now committed to a single sentiment: the melancholy of longingly waiting.
