The basis of this Christmas carol is an English text from the 15th century. When composing, Jan Wilke orientated himself on traditional models of Anglican church music; for example, the first verse is sung soloistically. The three voices can be accompanied by harp or piano. The e-print contains the full score (SSA and harp/piano) as well as the instrumental part.
