In his Symphony No.1, Alexander Scriabin composed, like Ludwig van Beethoven in his "Ninth", a triumphant closing chorus. Michael Aschauer has created a very effective arrangement of Scriabin's "Hymn to Art" for choir a cappella and soprano solo (ad lib). Suitable for a whole range of situations, this choral arrangement can, depending on the occasion, be performed as a jubilant homage to music and art (Glory to Art) or as a rousing hymn of praise to God (Glory to God).
