She Walks in Beauty, Lord Byron’s romantic love poem written in 1815, in an original and impressive musical interpretation by Andrea Figallo, the former bass singer of the well-known vocal group The Flying Pickets! Starting from an expressive, archaic sounding bass phrase, the work develops into a musical experience of great stylistic, harmonic and tonal diversity. Figallo skilfully combines popular and jazz elements with the language of classical Romantic music and with new sounds to produce a homogeneous and powerfully expressive choral composition.
