This Advent Carol about Mary and the birth of her son Jesus was composed by Max Reger (1873–1916). The gently moving choral piece for six mixed voices (first SATB, then SSATBB) a cappella can be sung with the original German or the additional English lyrics (Our Dear Lady‘s Dream).
