“In Bethlehem upon that morn’ there was a blessed Messiah born.” – This Irish Christmas carol from County Wexford proclaims the joyful message. It takes us back to Bethlehem on that magical Holy Night. Accompanied by the choir, several soloists have a chance to shine in this arrangement by Martin Seiler. The tenor begins, followed by three angelic women’s voices that speak to the shepherds. As a contrast, the lower basses also get to finally take over the melody.
